I've seen quite a few pregnant women in the last few days and I think I miss being pregnant. I really can't believe I'm saying that!!!! I miss the unknown feeling, spending hours wondering what the baby is gonna look like, how the labor is going to be.

I also kinda feel sad I've been through this already, I mean if I have another baby it won't be the same... I'm thinking it won't be as exciting as the first time you do something.

:dohh:

Don't get me wrong, I don't want another baby right now (really not a good time) but I kinda wish I could go back in time and spend or week or two in my pregnancy.

ps: I really miss his little kicks, his bum sticking out... The hiccups...

I know exactly what you mean Jess. I, by no means, ever want to have another baby, but I miss feeling pregnant and feeling the kicks, and the first stages of the bump and constant guessing boy or girl.
:(

I miss it too. I got really down about it when I first gave birth & I can't wait to be able to do it all again.

When I was in hospital though for several days, being ill after Pierre was born I spent some time in the delivery suite and then on the ward and also going back and forth for scans and I couldn't believe how many babies must be born each year just in one hospital. So many pregnant women and so many new babies. Even though you know it happens, when you see it for yourself it's a shock!

I really miss it too. I had a bit of time towards the end wishing it was over and being miserable but I really miss the kicks. I know what you mean about a second baby as well. It was so exciting being pregnant for the first time!

Hopefully this feeling will pass for us all soon!

all my pregnancies hav been soooooo different tho think my 2nd was the easiest and last the hardest :dohh: that couldda ben down to me bein injured in crash tho?? who knows lol

I guess it must be too close for me. I don't miss one thing about being pregnant!

I totally miss it. I feel like my pregnancy ended so abruptly, I was not quite ready for it to be over with. I am so glad to hear I am not the only one who feels a bit sad when thinking it is all over. I can now wait to do it again, but totally agree that it won't be quite the same as the first time.

I remember posting a thread when I was in the second tri saying I will never miss being pregnant. Well I do. I tap my belly still and expect it to move.

I felt exactly the same after my first baby! and I think Im going to miss being pregnant again.

I remembered feeling the same thinking it wont be the same seocnd time round, but trust me it is! Its just as amazing and everything is as exciting as the first time!xxx

i am still pregnant (obviously) but even at this stage i knew when i go on to have my 2nd pregnancy i may not have the same excitment i have had for this one cos it is my first. i now know what it is like to have kicks, movements, feeling those hiccups for the first time, morning sickness, scans, what happens with midwife etc. i might be wrong but often the 2nd time round in a lot of things the excitment is not the same - hope i am wrong!

I miss it too.

And yes, I found the second pregnancy more exciting because I knew what to expect, and every little pain and pull wasn't a worry as it was for the first. I was able to relax and enjoy it a lot more.

Although I'd love being pregnant again... I'm very glad to be just a mama to a 12 yo and newborn at the moment ;)

Oh! I posted more or less the same post myself. I really miss being pregnant altho I wouldnt trade my little princess for the world. I miss the kicks, hiccups, scan dates and having my baby to myself, I dont like sharing lol. I know exactly how you feel hun xXx

I don't miss it at all. I hated being pregnant, was the worst 9 months of my life. It was worth it though!

its small things like earlier when I got up of the couch to do something and my husband had his feet up on the coffee table blocking my way, I could just simply step over his legs. When I was pregnant I couldn't do that.

I'm just a much happier person without a huge bump in front of me.
