monitoring & bloodwork to check ovulation

So i've been going in for monitoring lately and checking on ovulation. I go for sonos and bloodwork.

Last thursday was my first time going and i was told to fast before the bloodwork. Then i went again on tuesday.

I now have to go back tomorrow to check the size of the follicle and more bloodwork to see if i'm ovulating. Do i really need to fast for it? or more importantly... not have coffee?

Huh. I have been through 2 fresh ivf cycles and had never had to fast except for prior to retrieval.
They never told me to do a thing different. I don't know if they are running any other tests on you that it would make a difference (like a fasting blood sugar for example) but I guess if you want to be super safe, do it for tomorrow, then ask them why when you are there.
