More aggressive therapy, less response??

Hi all -
I am having IUI #2 this week. For IUI #1 I had clomid plus gonal-f (300 IU) and had 5 or 6 mature follies. I was pleased with my response but it was BFN.

RE said he wanted to be more aggressive this month - so I am taking gonal-f (300) plus suprefact. Now I have 3 mature follies - down by half from last time!


Anyone ever have this kind of response when supposedly your protocol is more 'aggressive'?

Only thing I did differently on my own this month is acupuncture.

Hi I don't have any answer to ur post.. All I can tell u is just be positive as out of 3 follicles jus one has to fertilize to get u a baby forget about last IUI n stay positive n also u have been for the accupuncture which sounds great.. Don't worry hon.. Let this be ur month....

Thanks FaithPatience! I guess I am getting hung up on follicle numbers, which is not the right attitude.

My IUI is tomorrow... here's hoping the eggs I do have are in perfect condition
