More ounces causing distress

Basically 5oz in a bottle was fine and would last 3 hours, then LO was wanting to feed every hour and a half or even every hour. So after a couple of days I put 6oz in a bottle but I'm a bit worried. After he takes it he screams the place down (I burp every ounce so I don't think it's wind) I rock him and he has a mini sleep maybe 5 mins then he is calm. He can then wait 3-4 hours to feed. It's the screaming when he finishes that is confusing me. He has gaviscon already due to major spit up and that works well. he's not spitting up just getting really distressed, I don't really want to feed every hour or so, how can I fix this?

Are you sure he's not still having reflux just not bring it all the way up. It could still be causing pain in his throat. Might ask dr for a med for gerd

Yeah, I'm thinking the same thing. If his belly is more full with the extra ounce that would make sense.
