Morphology question Updated with pic of results

We got our SA results today , The doc said hubby should see a Urologist , Everything looks good doc said Morphology was 50% is this good or bad ?

The morphology sounds fantastic to me. I think the World Health Organisation suggests it needs to be more than 4% to be considered normal. But this depends on your FS, as they all have their own ideas. You should definitely have no problems with that kinda morphology

My DH has only 1% normal morphology and we are in the middle of our first ICSI. So I hope that gives you an idea that it's definitely still possible

Thanks so much , I am getting a copy of the results I plan on taking them into a urologist just to ease my docs mind so I can start clomid hehe

Yeah that is what I think too I don't really understand why my doc recomends we see a urologist

I can't read the normal reference range on that report, but it might be 30% as it appears the analysis performed was WHO and not Kruger. If that is the case, a trip to a urologist to check for a varicocele may be warranted.

My DH's morph i salso 50% and the doctor said that was great! No worries!


ETA: Sorry, just scrolled through the entire post. 15% is still good!

It may be because of the leukocytes. He might have some type of infection currently that they want to treat. The morphology looks great to me though. My DHs was at 5% I believe. Best of luck to you!
