moses baskets

im stressing over moses baskets.
i cant find the one i want,i dont want to spend more than £50 as i know baby wont be in it for long.
i wanted it a creamy colour but i dont want it too frilly.
the ones ive seen are either pink or blue and have the same design as the nursery.
we are having winnie the pooh theme nursery from babies r us and they do a winnie the pooh moses basket but it doesnt have a hood and i dont like the look of it and its £60.

can anyone recommend a nice,creamy colour not frilly and under £50 moses basket.
we are not finding out what we are having so it needs to be either a boy or girl.

help!!!

we got purs from john lewis, the delivary was very quick and the basket is great.

we got the mamas and papas stand for it but there are cheaper ones out there

yes they are too frilly for me.
it doesnt have to be winnie the pooh as baby is gonna be in our room while in moses basket.
but then i dont want another theme either. just need a plain one.

am i just being fussy.

Beanie, i have seen the white ones with waffle fabric but im not too keen on the waffle.

I'm the exact same as you. I have the perfect moses basket in my head but can't find it any where. My DH has made it very clear that there are to be no frills in sight. There are some nice ones in the babies r' us catalogue but again they are along a nursery theme.

i didnt want to pay too much as baby wont be in it for long but then i dont think i will be able to get away with not having one.

I had been looking in Smyths toy store for one. They appear only to have a choice of 3. Pink, Blue or yellow. I find the yellow to bright personally but it might be an option.

I'm trying not to panic too much. I've at least 21 weeks til LO gets here. I am hoping that within that time shops will have changed their stock and i find something that i like.

you will be lucky,i dont think the shops will change there stock,
most shops have just got there new stock in and that will be it now til autumn.

the mothercare, babies r us and mamas and papas catalogues are spring and summer so the next ones will be autumn and winter.

We got ours from argos and I think it was only about £30. It's really nice. We had to buy a stand seperately, but that was only £15.

I think it looks a bit pink, but we got some creamy bedding to go in it and it doesn't actually look that bad anymore
