okay so I know I might be over analyzing things and it might be just gas but I have heard stories of women being able to feel their babies around the same time. Okay so this started about 3 days ago, I was laying in bed and I felt a small little like "bump" against my lower tummy. At first I was like "what in the world?" and passed it off as possible gas or my imagination. Well in the morning I was sitting on my couch and all of a sudden, little flutters in the same area, just for a few seconds then it stopped. I almost didn't even notice them they were so light. So trying not to get excited I started thinking maybe it was the baby moving because it was in the spot I'm almost positive the baby is at (I had cramping there before I found out I was pregnant and assume it was implantation, and thats where my OB found the HB) so the next day I'm waiting and trying to be very aware of my body and unfortunately my tummy started growling and just wouldn't stop but it was up above my belly button and in the middle of my stomach rather than on my right side and lower than my belly button. So I couldn't dectect any kind of movement then. Yesterday I way playing around with my doppler app and I watched where my OB put her doppler to find the HB and tried the same area and when I did I got a few little "knocks" as if to say "Hey mom, stop it!"
So I'm kind of convinced its not just all in my head, I did do a lot of praying and was asking for a sign that baby was still okay because I'm a terrible worrier and I feel like maybe this is a sign that everything is okay. I am still a little doubtful that it was gas or something so I haven't even mentioned it to anyone. I haven't felt anything today unfortunately but I know when you first start feeling the flutters its not an everyday thing.

I am curious though if this is baby movement I'm feeling does that mean by 15-16 weeks he or she will be moving more? or will it be the same small flutters and bumps i'm feeling every so often now.

This is my first child, I'm about halfway through my 13th week. I know the odds are slim but I know every pregnancy is different and things like that. I've also done a little research just to make sure it was even possible and people have said that with their first they felt around 13 weeks the small flutters.

I swear I felt movement at 13+1, and again a few days later.... Then nothing for a couple weeks! Tonight at 16+3 baby is getting excited about milking the goats though

it could be baby, if you heard the thumps with your doppler, it is baby moving around.

I didn't remember feeling the early movement with my son, I didn't feel him until about 16-17 weeks. I also wasn't really looking out for the fluttering.

This time around I felt it at 14 weeks. Just little fluttering. It was confirmed by my doctor listening to the HB, because we could hear baby moving around.

I haven't really felt much except in like the last week, baby is actually doing little rolls (very odd feeling), and likes to be right by my belly button. And every so often wherever baby is at, that area of my tummy will get hard, and then go away as baby moves from it. Still can't feel from outside yet. I kept willing baby to move last night as my OH had his had on my belly while laying in bed, but nope, lol. I think I'm more excited about him feeling baby move.

It definitely could be baby.... I felt little flutters that were completely random and I passed off as gas, but then realized they were probably baby! :)

I have felt the odd flutters too. It feels slightly different that gas, almost like butterflies but bubbles popping. It's a strange but amazing feeling :) enjoy them

Probably is baby :)
I felt mine around the same time, and could even feel small little kicks from the outside, this is my second child tho. With my first, I felt little kicks around 13-14 weeks, mostly when there was a loud noise and something scared it, but could only feel it from the inside.
I've had gas bubbles (very seldomly) but when I do have them, I can clearly tell the difference. If these kicks are above where your uterus should be at 13 weeks, it's probably not baby.
Don't let anyone tell you that you can't feel movement that early. It is totally possible. I think some people just get upset because they didn't feel their baby that early. But everyone is different!

thanks ladies, I'm almost positive that it is baby. Last night while trying to go to sleep LO kept bumping me, they were a little stronger (maybe I was just more aware) like it felt like he or she was rolling around and pressing his/her back against my uterus. I can't explain it, it was like someone was poking me from the inside and just holding their finger there x) they are down right above my pelvic bone on my right side.
This is super exciting if it's baby :) I can't wait for them to get stronger and more frequent. Also the movement isn't very big, like the bumps and pressure I feel around about the size of a nickel maybe, and they don't move across my stomach or anything just in that general area unlike gas, which moves all over the place xD

I was getting flutters and odd feeling sice about 14 weeks, but I never can be sure if it's gas or baby so I don't count them haha. This is my second, and suddenly at 17 weeks I could feel proper kicks, from the inside and out. The day after the sudden kicks, I felt baby rolling around. You can see my belly distort when it's changing position. Midwife said I'm carrying really far forward, and baby is right at the surface. Totally different than I was with my son.

I'd say it baby :) I felt this one from 12 weeks and I have an anterior placenta although this is my second. Can't remember exactly when I first felt my daughter. But it's possible.

I don't think you can feel so early. I'm only just feeling definite movement now, and this is my second. I've been feeling the odd flutter for a week or so, but in the last 2 days it has become much more definite.

It's not unheard of. There's every chance it could be baby:)

It could be! I thought I could feel my daughter's movements from around week 16, it wasn't until week 18 that I felt a massive kick that made me jump out of my skin *.* this time I know what to look for & I think I can feel little movements. I'm 14 weeks 5 days x

Just because you didn't feel baby that early,
Don't mean others can't.....

I hear ya! I swear I can feel flutters and I have been feeling them since around 13 weeks at first I thought it may be gas as well but every time I use my Doppler I hear baby kicking the probe so it must be baby :) sometimes when I lay in bed or sit in a certain position I feel little flutters like a popping sensation I can only describe it as! This is my second baby and with my first I didn't feel anything til around 18-19weeks but this time I can defiantly notice them
