So I think it's time to move DD to her room. She's been in a co-sleeper in our bedroom since she was born, but she's getting a little to big for it and as she now rolls around in her sleep (she's 5 months!) she runs out of room and gets stuck.

She sleeps in her cot for her naps so I know she's comfier in there and she would probably be ok with the transition.

I don't know if I would though. It will feel so weird without her in the room. We do have a baby monitor and I can hear her anyway since her room is right next to ours, but I just feel just a little sad about it.. I guess that's normal...

Totally normal. You probably won't sleep well the first night bit you'll soon get used to it x

My son is almost 3 months older than your daughter and is still in with us. I'm sure he'd been fine with going in to his own room, it's just me putting it off because I like to be able to check on him without getting out of bed  is moving her cot in to your bedroom not an option? If you want to keep her in with you that is x

Our room is quite small so her cot doesn't fit... I'll just have to get used to the idea!

Sob! First night in her own room tonight and i don't want to go to bed as she won't be beside me.

Just because you don't bedshare, doesn't mean you can't room share. It is perfectly understandable to be sad about putting her in a different room; moms and babies are meant to sleep together. But if moving her is what's right for your family, then that's what's right for your family.
