I work at my sons daycare, and I will be moving into the older toddler room. My son will be one next month. They start moving up from infants to young toddlers at 11ish months. I'm just freaking out here!

They will give him a bottle in there, but none of the other toddlers are on them. He will be moving from sitting in a highchair to the little chairs at the table, and they also sleep on cots instead of the crib. He still need to be rocked for his naps. I think this will be a good change, because they take set naps and such, but I'm just so worried with all this change.... Any advice and insight is welcome!

The youngest in the room is 14 months. He will be a year September 21st.

I find it a bit odd that they don't use cribs for 12 month olds? I think that would make me uncomfortable. But I'm not sure what you mean by cot, so maybe it's fine!

This is a cot. But I had a sit down with my boss today, and we are going to start in the infant room and transition into young toddlers between 13-14 months.
