Mucous plug/bloody show?

Im 39+2 and had a stretch and sweep yesterday at 10.30am, straight after I started having brown discharge, which I assumed was normal after a sweep.
This morning when I woke up I went to the bathroom and when I wiped (TMI) there was a lot of brown discharge with clear gooey looking stuff. Which I'm guessing was the plug?

Is there a different between the bloody show and mucous plug or are they the same thing?

I've also had some backache so I'm hoping this could be the start!

Mucous plug can be without color, bloody show is plug with blood in it. The brown doesn't sound too promising, but that's not to say your waters won't spontaneously break
