Mucus plug? Discharge TMI!

So question about mucus plug. Slightly TMI but i think we are all past that on here anyway🙊

So I've been losing small amounts of plug for about a month now. Small slivers occasionally, but last few days I suspect I've been loosing more.

It's not how it was before though? I was getting quite thick snotty stringy discharge whenever parts came out before. Now, it's only when I go for a wee and wipe. But it's been all day yesterday and today. I am 8 days away from due date. When I wipe it's literally covering the whole tissue with it. And then I can wipe again and there be more. But it's more like a slippery snotty discharge. Not thick and gloopy, but not watery at all. Does this sound like plug? Or just normal late pregnancy discharge? Just feel like I'm looking for anything to be a sign lol!

Definitely think it's your plug! I've actually been losing small bits of mine which is a little worrisome as I'm not quite 33 weeks yet...but midwives and I already suspect I'll be going early anyhow so just hoping I make it until atleast 36 weeks

Plug comes in many forms, it sounds good.

When i was already in early labour i lost a tennis ball sized lump then it was just stringy... to point i stood there over 10mins just constantly pulling it out lol

It has stopped today?! So confusing. It just seems like it all came out and now there's nothing left? Had some irregular contractions through the night last night but nothing today. Guess I need to be patient and play the waiting game!xx
