Mucus question!

When your mucus is the consistency of eggwhite but has cloudy streaks in it and isn't completely clear, does it count as eggwhite? Trying to gauge how far off my positive OPK might be. I don't temp, cervix is high soft and open and I've been crampy all day.

Does it stretch? I've read it should stretch at least 2cm without breaking. I've honestly never noticed if it was completely clear or not, but it was clear and stretchy enough to be obvious what it was. Regardless, I would trust the opk and the cramps as you can always use some fertility safe lube if you have it for extra protection if you aren't making loads of cm yet.

Yep it's very stretchy and slippery. I have some Conceive Plus that I bought at the beginning of the cycle, because for the last two months I've had thrush over ovulation time. Fingers crossed I don't seem to have it at the moment. I've been having dull cramps literally all day, I feel like AF is coming, but it can't be because I'm only on CD17. I did take soy isoflavones this cycle as I've just had two CPs in a row, so it might be making things stronger ������

I think that's a really good sign. I also had really strong, painful ovulation cramps when I got pregnant this time. I'd had a mc the month before, so I do think that contributes as you tend to be extra fertile after, but ovulation cramps are always a good sign. Good luck!

Thank you! I am now willing my body NOT to ovulate right now, because my donor is not available on Wednesday or Thursday... tried to arrange a "just in case" donation for today, but he has a stomach bug!
