you poor thing, just when you could really use the support! But at least she knows now, so in that sense the worst is done - I'm sure she'll come around. Maybe being a granny is making her feel old... maybe that's it?

Yeah maybe, she did text me and say 'I don't want to be called Granny'.

OMG ladies I can't believe you have had these reactions from your mothers! I am so sorry. We told my mum and my MIL/FIL on Christmas Day because we thought it would be a nice christmas present. They were all delighted and this will be my MIL's 10th Grandchild! When I seen my FIL the next day he told me how amazing and brilliant I was!

Hopefully they will come around soon. xx
