I have no idea what to do about it. He was a very placid little baby, probably because he has a brother who is only 17 months older than him so took a lot of his attention away. But recently he just seems so so frustrated.

He didn't walk until 15.5 months but now he is completely mobile and confidently walking all over so it can't be that. He is an excellent communicator and has tons more words than his brother did at this age, so is able to 'tell' us stuff.

I just feel like he isn't interested in any of his toys, has no attention, and constantly cries or shouts. He just wants the remote control or the iPhone and when I move them away from him he screams. I feel like he's always the one at friends houses who is crying or unable to play nicely.

He woke at 6.15 this morning and usually we have a 'not before 7' rule and DS1 will play in his bed until 7 if he wakes early, but DS2 just shouted and yelled so loud that we had to get him up and yet he still spent the 45 mins downstairs just shouting and crying, not playing.

Am I describing a normal 1.5 year old here? I'm trying to think back to what DS1 was like when DS2 was born as it's exactly this age and I can't remember him being so LOUD or cryey.

He has lots and lots of teeth and I think it's going on too long to be due to teethjng

Has he got his molars yet? I have no personal experience of this but from what I've gathered they get some at 2 years and apparently they can trigger difficult behaviour/ crying etc?? Could also just be the start of 'terrible twos' but if he's always been quite placid before id be guessing some outside influence like molars, food intolerance, something like that??
