Hey fellow bristolian!! Congratulations on you baby boy!! and an amazing birthing story! Your the first person I know of to do one born every min at southmead!! I spoke to a member of the team about doing it and in the end OH didn't want to do it
Look forward to seeing the OBEM programmes about feb/march time!?! x

Aww your OH sucks lol. We won't know for certain that our journey will be featured yet, they decide when they've wrapped up the filming in November. But they seemed pretty keen, and they were trying hard to get more couples as they didn't have as big a response as expected, so fingers crossed! The cameras hadn't actually been rigged around the hospital until 2nd September so most couples are just filmed via fly on the wall remotely controlled cameras whereas I got real live crew! The series begins in January, but assuming they choose us, we could be on any of the 20 episodes. I'm excited to watch the whole series as its in Bristol!! xxx

Haha I tried to convince him! Yeah they seemed really eager to get me to do it! Had loads of emails and a few letters through the post! Hopefully (no doubt) we get to see your magical birth! Looks like it'll be a good series! Do you know of anyone else from Bristol doing it? Oh no, thought they would've been prepared with the cameras! It's a milestone in your life that you can say you've done!

Congratulations that was a fab birth story! I hope they do show you on OBEM, I love that show. Saying that though, I might not be brave enough to watch the new series if it starts in the new year as it will probably feel more real that that will be me a few months after!
