My baby has a cold and have problems breathing. Doctor prescribed her albuterol. Yesterday she eat very well but today She only ate 2oz of breastmilk that I could put her in a bottle. I recently moved and I don't have a breastpump so was very hard doing it manually. What can I do?

Keep trying her at the breast as hopefully the medicine will start working quickly, but if it's not working quite yet then I would go pick up a single manual pump if you're near a store - mine was fairly inexpensive and it ended up being really useful long-term.

Try to get hold of some saline drops or saline spray to help clear her nose. Once she can breathe a bit more easily, she'll be able to feed better.

Thank you all, she is sleeping a lot but today we went to the pediatrician and he changed her medicine to amoxicillin. He also told me that is probably that she had RSV. I went to the store and purchased a manual breastpump that work very well. However, I ended up giving her the breastmilk with a syringe.

Can you use a bulb syringe or nasal aspirator to clear her nose before she feeds?

I tried but she doesn't like it and don't have much nasal fluid anyway. She has it all in the chest.
