my baby dropped like crazy the past 24 hours!!

This is baby #3 for me. It's been 7 years since my last baby was born, so I am a little rusty at all of this... I am 37 weeks and 3 days and he has dropped WAY low just within the past 24 hours. there is a huge gap between my breasts an the top of my bump!

Any ideas on whether this means labor can be expected soon, since this is baby #3? or does it very from baby to baby? my first child, my daughter, was born ON her due date. My second child (son) was born 8 days past his due date, and I am pregnant with my 3rd, another boy.

Mine did the same last week! It's weird because I don't look nearly the same as I did the day before. Smaller and different! This is my third and with #1 (17 day's late) she dropped at 34 weeks and pounded against my cervix for 2 months and #2 (born at exactly 37 weeks) dropped the night before my water broke. Who knows... All I know is this one has dropped and I've started prodromal labor. Could be 3-4 days, could be a couple more weeks.
