what could this be?

ive had it a few days... it litrally takes my breathe away, its hard to explain what it feels like other than a really strong pain in my lower back that feels like a pulse for about 30-40 seconds and then stops, it doesnt come every few minutes just randomly .

also been getting really bad cramps that feel a bit like period pains, also the "runs" every now and then since friday which i put down to my metformin .

should i be worrying?

xx

anyone?

is this the start of somthing..... aaaaahhhhh i feel so unprepared, despite having everything feel mentally unprepared and crapping myself lol,
hope she stays put for a while, still need to buy my night shirts for hospital lol

lol i hope your fine - i am totally unprepared - we are moving on the 24th lol and haven't done a thing - i think your fine hun but you know what im gonna say call your mw - you sure it isn't bubs kicking down there - yesterday my bum was pulsating with bubs kicking me that way - if felt really strange lol xxx

:( sorry not much help but I got that kinda back pain last week it was so not cool my bub is back to back with me maybe your bub is too ?

perhaps its some palpitations, they are fairly common in pregnancy.....I sometimes get them too, it feels like theres a HB in my back, usually I sit up and drink a nice big glass of water, as being dehydrated can bring them on....its nothing to worry about....our bodies are under extra strain during pregnancy, the heart has to work 50% harder...try to relax.

hi I know you wrote this along time ago but did you find out what it was?

Im on my third pregnancy and have the same problem. painful throbbing pulse in my lower back travels up to my neck and completely takes my breath away!!

It has happen in all my pregnancies. Iv told doctors, midwives and friends. No-one has heard of such a thing. I had a heart ECG during labour with my second - results showed nothing and a lengthy discussion with the midwives who delivered my 1st. No one knew. My own doctor didnt know either - his diagnosis was that if it only happens in pregnancy then it will dissappear when i give birth!! It is scary!!
