My gorgeous little boy was born on Monday 1st July at 5:34 am :) I managed a successful VBAC, he weighed 5lb 3oz and was born at 32 weeks

My story:
I woke up at 2am with a pain in the bottom of my back, i spent 20 minutes trying to work out if they were contractions or not. They were coming every two minutes so I decided it was defiantly time! I wipe my oh up, called my mum and dad and they both turned up 10 minutes later, my mum took dd back to hers and my dad drove us to the hospital. We got to the hospital at 3:00 am where I was having very strong contractions! They faffed for a while in triage and moved me over to delivery at half 3, I was examined and told I was 10cms already! For a while I wasn't allowed to push because they were waiting for the doctor from special care. My waters broke as I started pushing and he was born 19 minutes later :) he cried when he was born but quickly struggled with his breathing so they used an oxygen face mask to help him before transferring him to special care where he has been breathing on his own :) he's doing really well and I only have a small second degree tear which needed stitches but isn't too uncomfortable (unless I'm going for a wee!). I was discharged last night and although it was horrible leaving baby Matthew at the hospital it was nice to get some sleep.

All in all everything went well compared to my daughters birth and I defiantly recommend a VBAC!

I remember I had a growth scan at 32 weeks with Eddy and they said that at that point he weighed 5lb which was classed as 'large'. He went on to be 41+3 and 10lb14oz so I guess he was large! lol Also, when you consider that a friend of the family had a baby girl last May (was due same day as Eddy but she went a week early and I went a week late lol) and she, at 39wks weighed 5lb5oz!! It's crackers! lol
