Sophie Elizabeth, born on 28th January 2014- weighing in at 7lbs 12oz. Was due to have my waters broke on the tuesday, but they went at 10.30 monday night. Pains gradually got worse over night, someone in the same bay as me seemed much worse than what I was feeling so I thought best let the midwife focus on her, I'll deal with my own pain. All I asked for was meptid injection and bounced on a ball. By the time I'd decided I couldn't take it any more, the midwife examined me and could see Sophie's head. I'd got to fully dilated all on my own.. So was whisked away to delivery straight away, at 10.30am, started pushing at 11am, and Sophie arrived at 12.48pm. I had an episiotomy and still tore, but it was classed as a minor 3rd degree tear - I absolutely loved it in surgery! Appreantly I'm the talk of the midwives and am a strong trojan woman! Ha! Wayne was brilliant too, did everything neither of us thought he would... cut the cord, watched her come out.... and now he's in awe of her. https://i964.photobucket.com/albums/ae125/mandamoo2/2014-01-29211348_zps8792e2f2.jpg
