Hey should have posted long ago but I have a 7 year old and a 2 year old... and little ANDREW, things just take longer to do now. So here goes....
I went into early labour on friday the 16th after having dinner with friends, went to the hospital, they wanted to stop the contractions, with tablets, and wanted me to sleep over... I refused because my dr were not on call and I stay really close to the hospital. On saturday morning at 6 my hubby got a fright because the tablets lowered my BP so much I could not communicate and drifted in and out of consciousness. My Dr, were 2 days away on a road trip and I said I will wait for her... I was admitted 0 dilation with contractions mild 3 to 4 in 10 min.
On sunday we decided to stop the adelat and if I went into full labour we will allow the dr on call to do the c/s. (this same dr did my previous emergency c/s and it was a disaster... thus FEAR of the same thing happening)
Guess what... my contractions stopped!!!!!!!!!
And monday morning, at 5 they started to prep me for my c/s with my dr. and my little man were born at 8:15 weighing 3.28kg a perfect calm little boy...
NOW THE TWIST
My friend that was pregnant with me, due only 7 days later, lost her little boy the same day mine was born, we had the same op same dr, same everything even same hospital. He died of a true knot in the umbilical cord only 6 hours before her scan.
NOw be in hospital with a friend that just lost her baby was HELL. same visitors one to mourn and one to celebrate, we sms each other, visit but wow it is difficult to be around her and support her but I am trying.... to be a true friend.
