My child will never be potty trained

Definitely don't compare and like others mentioned, girl vs boy is very different. Most girls seem to get it earlier than boys. My sisters girl is 6 weeks younger than my son and was totally trained night and day at 18 months! My lucky sister!

Save yourself the stress and wait until he's ready. We attempted potty training a number of times after my daughter turned two, it turned into such a nightmare. She would get upset, we got frustrated and ultimately, the timing just wasn't right. Two weeks ago we asked our daughter if she would like to wear pants now. After one day of accidents, she is using the toilet every time. No accidents, no stress, we didn't spend a week indoors chasing her with a potty. I'm of the opinion that when they are truly ready, it will happen and this way of doing it has been so incredibly easy.

My daughter is also 2yrs 3months, and after 3 wees on the potty last week, completely refuses to go on the potty/toilet at all now, so we have put it away again now for a little while.

There's no point comparing kids, even some girls just aren't ready at that age. H is 2 yrs 6 months, and is absolutely not ready. We have screaming fits if we even dare put her near the potty or toilet. I presume one day it will just click, but I do get your frustration. I am getting bored of 'isn't she potty trained yet?' questions

I feel like my son will never be trained and he is 3! We've tried lots of times and had to go back to pull up nappies because he wasn't ready/willing. Now he's 3 I think I've got to push it a bit more. We're on day 6 and have gone through a lot of pairs of pants! Don't worry about your LB, you've got ages yet. I wish I hadn't stressed over it so much, but my MIL kept pushing it :growlmad:
