I am obsessed by looking at names even though I'm still WTT. I like to have more unusual names (for my area, anyway) and was wondering what people think of these. What are your favourites? :flower:

Girls
1. Noelle
2. Arianna
3. Laine
4. Karoliine
5. Caoimhe (Kee-va)

Boys
1. Alastair
2. Shaun
3. Logan
4. Harris
5. Blair

Girls
1. Noelle - Cute, simple but like this spelling
2. Arianna - Personally think it should only be used when people roll the R, otherwise it loses it's sound.
3. Laine - Too plain/masculine to me...Laney or Elaine would be so much better
4. Karoliine - I actually really like this spelling.
5. Caoimhe (Kee-va) - Had NO idea how to pronounce this (thanks!) I love the pronunciation but the spelling just doesn't suit me.

Boys
1. Alastair - Nice name but would suggest alternate spellings like Alister, Allistar, Alestair, etc.
2. Shaun - Lovely name but prefer Shawn
3. Logan - Love this!! Even for a girl too!
4. Harris - Personally not a fan, although Harrison seems fine IMO.
5. Blair - Just not a fan, sorry.

My favorites from your list are Noelle and Shaun/Logan...or maybe Harrison. Harris seems incomplete to me, but that's just a personal opinion. I had no idea how to pronounce Caoimhe either...will people in your area know how to say it?

Caoimhe (Kee-va)

I always cringe when I see this... no idea how you get that pronunciation from those letters, im from an irish family and dont get it - always forget and think its pronounced Kye-mee

Boys
1. Alastair - not a fan
2. Shaun - nice but not to my taste
3. Logan - ok, wouldn't use it myself
4. Harris - prefer Harrison
5. Blair - not a fan but only because I know of a stripper that goes by this name :haha:

Thanks ladies. It's funny how you all seem to thing Harris should be Harrison. To me Harrison is a surname with wouldn't work at all to me. I know I chose a couple with alternative spellings but these are the ones that seem best to me :flower:

love Noelle and arianna and Logan:)

Arianna and Alistair :)

Don't mind laine as mn but don't really like as first

My fave from your list is Arianna (it was on my list last time before I found out I was having a boy - but a few ppl kept saying "air-ee-on-uh" which was annoying me bc I like it pronounced "are-ee-on-uh").

I used to have a sweet doggy named Alayna who we lovingly called "Lainey" / "Laina" / "Laine" - so I love this name (but only with Alaina/Alayna as the proper name)

Noelle I love as a middle name - I think it goes well with almost everything! (Ex. Arianna Noelle)

From the boy's list I only like Logan!
