Laetitia,

Good, get the day 3 test done. In terms of the dye test, it will not mess up your cycle and I encourage you to continue and try during that cycle. Call and tell them that you are scheduling you hysterosalpingogram to check to make sure your fallopian tubes are open. You can have cramping that day after the procedure so take Ibuprofen 600mg one hour before your appointment.

Dr. Phan

Subject: question?

well i am started to spot this morning so a other new cycle for me :(...
i will probably take the Cd3 this week end as i am expecting full flaw tomorrow or friday...
Anyway i need to schedule the dye test you told me to do ( a nice lady called me last week and gave me a number to call on cycle day 1 to schedule between cd7 and cd12 the dye test)
What is the name of that test? so i can explain what i need on the phone and Doc Phan is this test will delay my ovulation or mess up my cycle ? i am worried it will impact my chances for this new cycle :(...
Thank you .

so ladies the dye test "Hysterosalpingogram" does not mess up our ovulation or lower our chances for that month!!!!

i was so worried that the dye will affect my chances:blush:

Miel - I love your doc, any chnace when you get pg you can send him to Manchester????

Seriously, I was told to refrain from bd-ing till after the hsg as it can cause miscarriage, but it was done for me on cd9 so there was no problem. I have heard that people do concieve after having it done though

Good luck hun

yes sinead i read that too...as the ink can help to unblock any mucus plugs that will be in there ...

either way i am looking forward (with a little bit of worries of course) to do all the tests and if everything is working properly i can relax a little and if i do have some problems i can work to fix whatever i need to fix:)

how are you doing hon?

Miel, I can't believe you email your doc - wow, that is service! ours here don't even take a phone call (well, mine at least). But its encouraging re news on Hys... - at least you don't waste a month by not trying.

as you know I'm going for a lap n dye next Thurs, I'm not sure if this affects our chances, I think some people said that they do a pregnancy test on you first, in any event we're still doing our little BD fun. Its so routine for us now that it feels strange not to.

Let me know how the Hys goes and I'll do likewise for the lap&dye.

 mucus away and big BFP!

Brilliant news honey - your doc is amazing.

Good luck with the tests - and sorry about the spotting.

bx x x:hugs:
