I had severe SPD in my 1st pregnancy 3 years ago to the point i was signed off work for the last 12 weeks of my pregnancy and had crutches, support bands etc. Literally as soon as i gave birth the pain stopped (YAY)

Ive always been troubled with my back and my joints as i have a connective tissue disorder (Ehlers Danlos Syndrome) with makes my ligaments hypermobile etc.

My symptoms started from 13 weeks in my 1st pregnancy and i had been literally absolutely fine in this one. Until now.

I am 26 weeks now and O.M.G the pain is horrendous! I am also running after an almost 3 year old boy who is very much a mummys boy and extremely clingy, wanting carried etc etc.

I cant sit comfortably, walk, lie, anything. Its horrible :( i really thought i was getting let of easy this time.

Got physio in a few weeks but it didnt much help last time.

Oh no, I feel your pain. I had bad spd last time round (little boy is now 3 - I had crutches bump support and ended up on tramadol) and got referred to physio at 6 weeks this time as.just the loosening made things bad again.
It never fully went away after my little boy to be honest

They told me to use a tens machine last time which helped, hopefully they'll be able to see you ASAP. If u had physio last time they should be able to fast track you and get you in within a week or so my midwife said.

Chiropractor!

I've never seen any women use them across the big pond and it's so disheartening. I'm starting to wonder, do you all not have access to them?

PT only did so much for my sciatica and spd, chiropractor adjustment however quite literally *CURED* both. There's no way I'd settle for being in that amount of pain every again - pregnant or not!
