So, been to the hospital today for the first appointment, and I'm feeling really positive about it! The nurse we spoke to is lovely. She's been there years and her office is absolutely covered with pictures of babies and thank you cards. She's so passionate and you can see she really cares about everyone. I mentioned a friend of ours who had recommended her, and she knew exactly which card was there's! She'd had 3 's this morning, so was on a role!!!
We had a long discussion about everything - the time we'd been ttc, how many times we BD'd, my cycles, everything. And we've agreed an action plan.
I've got to go for the normal tests - blood test at hospital on CD2 of next cycle, then an internal scan at around CD14-16. I book the scan when I do the blood test, so I'll know when then. Then she said after those tests, she wanted to do a full scan of my tubes to make sure there were no blockages. Stu's got to do his bit in a pot, but she said not to bother yet as I'm on CD9 today. She said to wait and see if AF arrives this month, and if she does, then to do the test then. So he's determined we're going to get PG this month!!!
So, all in all, we both feel really positive about it all!
