Hi Ladies
I thought I'd start on my labour thread following the visit to the midwife today. She was an older midwife than I'm used to and seemed to know everything. I've been getting loads of braxton Hicks just lately but it was the same with my first that was induced at 40+12
During my sweep, she told me that my cervix is almost fully effaced/thinned (9/10ths) and that I am already 4cm!! she said that there is no way I am being induced this time and said I would go into labour today/tomorrow. Apparently cervix is very favourable.
I have home 10mins and I'm getting bloody mucous as well as random contractions (not painful) but coming every 10mins or so.
I'm so happy that something is finally happening, as well as nervous and scared
