My baby girl sj was born on the 22nd of February by forceps!! I went into hospital on the morning of the 21st thinking my waters had broken but they hadn't. As it turns out I had very high blood pressure and preeclampsia so I was kept in over night.
At around 2am I started getting contractions and was given a gel to soften my cervix. At about 10.30am I was brought to the delivery suite. 17 hours and 50 mins after I went into labour out baby girl was born by forceps as she was getting distressed and I had a fever!!
Her little shoulder cause me to have a 3rd degree tear and I had to go to the operating theater to have stitches. I only got to hold our baby girl for a few mins before I was taken away
Her daddy kept her company until I got back
We were both kept in until the 25th as we were both on antibiotics because of the fever I had
We are both doing really great now and I can't believe she is two weeks old already
She is 100% going to be a daddy's girl he just can't get enough of her
