Have to bare with me as on my phone.....
So went into hospital tues to be induced...
Had a pessary at 3:30pm not much to report on that had to leave it for 24 hours so had to stay in hospital... Wed at 3:30pm got examined was 2-3cm dilated but cervix too high so had a tablet put up... Had a few twinges but nothing too bad... Was walking aound the hospital with oh and dd... The tablet was a 6 hour one but doc got called away in emergency so got examined at 11:30pm with no progress how gutted was i... He placed anotger 6 hour tablet in and said fingers crossed it works.... He left i settled to go to sleep but by 12 i was in agony with back pain and tightenings i told midwife who advised me to take a bath.... I layed in there for 3 hours by then full on contractions and laying in the bath on gas and air crging i wanted my oh but midwife said lets see how u go... By 3:30 i was in so much pain she decided to examine me i was 4cm dilated and having back to back contractions i called oh up who got to the hospital at 4:11am i was transferred to delivery suite where i was examined again was 8cm... But next min i know they broke my waters and i was pushing no control at all... But then all systems go babys heartbeat was dipping dangerously low with every contraction at 5am they called theatre saying i needed forceps which i heard and thought bugger that and Ayana Faith was born at 5:12am 25/4/13 weighing 7lb 10... She is perfect in everyway... We both home but im not too good cos of me having colitis and having low iron it has dipped down to borderline blood transfusion im on iron tablets and tgey gonna check again in a few days...
All worth it tho.....
