My line seems to be lighter than yesterday afternoon...

Basically, I tested yesterday (13dpo) in the afternoon...I got my 1st BFP at 9dpo but I was worried that my symptoms had gone yesterday so bought another 2 pack from the supermarket.

I did one yesterday afternoon (after peeing really regularly, there was only about an inch of urine in the pot!) and got a fairly dark line. I decided to use the second test this morning just to compare and I am frightened...I used FMU and the line is lighter than yesterday's. The control line is the same colour so I don't think it's a dye thing...

I have included a pic - the top one is yesterday's and the bottom is this monring's. It isn't a huge difference...but enough to have me worried...my temp has gone from 37.2C yesterday to 37.0 today...am I losing it?

Last week I was panicking because the tests went from taking 40s to give a positive to 3min. I had a scan and everything was fine. I was using the same brand of test for each. Personally, I think some batches are more sensitive than others. I'm sure everything is fine. Good luck!

i am pregnant with my 3rd and every pregnancy test i have done ive always had a reali dark line then i would take another a few days later just to make sure and there was always a faint line it doesnt mean anything it just the way the tests play out dont worry about it xx

I had this to bt there is no need to worry there are tons of reasons why it may become lighter (although they look the same to me) your urine may be more diluted this time etc. Also symptoms come and go , be glad and enjoy the time when they are not as bad as they come back with avengance , I am sick one day and the next I'm not and I worry I have learned just to enjoy the non sick days! You have got ur BFP so no need to test anymore !! Happy and HEalthy 9 months to u xxxx

I know someone who is 9 months pregnant and she did a test a few days ago and he line wasnt very dark at all. Did you do the test at the same time of day? Cause first morning urine is better than a y other I've of day. Try again tomorrow and I'm sure it will be darker. FX )

wouldnt worry, its probably your urine is more diluted and you have peed more x

to me the bottom one ("today's") looks darker...so i think that's a good sign

I had the same thing where my 12dpo test seemed lighter than my 11dpo test.....cue lots of panicking but all my tests up to 14dpo looked faint (i never got a dark line and stopped testing at 14dpo for my own sanity)
I've also had af-type cramps on and off since my bfp and a scan last week showed all seems ok

I always get lighter tests with FMU for some reason. It is hardly lighter at all anyway. Those tests look pretty similar and it could just be different amounts of dye in the test.

Thank you 2016...OH said that it wasn't so different when she got home from work...and I have stopped panicking somewhat...until tomorrow I am sure!! haha...decided not to test for a while anyway...will do another Clearblue later in the week to make sure I get a progression from 1-2 weeks
