So went in to be induced last Sunday had this pessary thing inserted had to have in for 24 hours. Didn't feel like it did anything to be honest! They checked me on Monday when had it out and they said I was 3cm which was enough for them to break my waters so I went to delivery.. Had my waters broken and started getting strong contractions instantly, I couldn't believe how quickly it happened didn't need the drip or anything! I got through the first 2 hours without anything no gas & air but then needed some as was in a lot of pain. Anyway the whole labour from start to finish was 6 hours long and he was here, all 8lbs 14oz of him!! So pleased I got to have natural delivery and didn't have any serious pain relief 
feels like a real achievement even though it doesn't really matter lol. He came on 30/12/13 at 18.16, we don't have a name still though :-/ he's so perfect and beautiful I can't stop looking at him. He's taken to breast feeding straight away more or less 10 mins after he came out.
Anyway just wanted to let everyone know he's here and safe, wish you all the best with the rest of your pregnancies ladies and thank you all so much for your advice over these last months x x x
