My little girl is here!!!

Well thank god for that☺ I was brought in Sunday to be induced. Was given first pessary at 4pm contractions started rolling in shortly after that. Managed ok with just tens machine until the early hours of the morning when pains were getting worse. 2-3 mins apart lasting 40 seconds each. They gave me petadine at 4am that morning that helped me sleep. It slowed things down I felt as by yesterday afternoon the following day contractions had eased. Was taken to labour ward yesterday eve and put on the drip and shortly afterwards contractions were full steam ahead. I managed to dilate to 5cm on just gas and air and then got the epidural. I was already 4 hours in established labour was getting no rest between contractions. Got the epi and within one hour I had gone from 5cm to 10cm!!! Started pushing at 10:30 and she arrived at 23:55☺ Caitlin Elizabeth Lynch weighing 7lbs and 13oz... worth every bit of it. I am on cloud 9💖💖💖💖
