My Miracle Journey

Praying for you, Hubs, Taylor and all three of your precious little ones in the office this morning, echoing everything NoDoubt lifted.

Hopefully it's not the case, but sounds like you may want to ask your doc about the chance of you having Hyperemisis Gravidarum. I've had several friends who have had it - and Princess Katherine had it as well, not that being in good company ever makes misery any better, but that may give you and your doctor some avenues to look into treatment options, support groups, tips and tricks, etc. My hubs' sergeant's wife had it with all three of her pregnancies (after struggles with infertility) and kept a roll of plastic waste bin liners in her car so she could have one draped over her steering wheel as she drove!

Hold on to the joy and His promise! <3

Poor lady :( I keep ziplock bags in my car and whenever I feel the urge, I head to my car and take care of business in peace.

Yes, I'm definitely bringing it up with the Dr and praying he can help.

I'm so sorry that you've been through this and I'm so angry for you that they wouldn't let your dh in with you when they did the ultrasound! I can't see any reason for that, surely that's when you need him the most!

Father I just pray your protection over my sister and her babies, I place the bloodline of Jesus Christ of Nazareth around her and each and every one of those babies, and I decree life, wholeness, fullness and health over her and the babies. I stand in the gap in faith and decree a complication-free full term pregnancy for you, healthy mummy, healthy babies and I ask Holy Spirit please fill each and every one of them with your peace that surpasses our understanding. I ask that my sister, her husband and her dd would know you in such a real way at this time, be her comfort and her shelter. In Jesus' name, Amen!

Sending lots of love your way, I'm praying xx

Thank you for that :hugs: I'm standing in agreement with you sis!

Praying for you sarah. Sorry meds aren't working. Hopefully they can up it/change frequency or add a med to it and get it working again.

Sorry about your scare sarah, pray that god bless you, your family and keeps the precious babies safe and healthy..

Hey hun. How are you feeling? Have things calmed down? How did your appt go? Hope they were able to shed some light and have a plan. Thinking of you.

Our appt was at 11am and we didn't see the Dr until almost an hour later. GRRRR, how are they gonna make a pregnant woman wait that long :haha:

Thankfully he is very kind and super informative and I feel extremely comfortable with him. We definitely wanted to know about the bleed that happened on Saturday and he went back to look at the ER notes and ultrasound pics and said it could of been the placenta growing into place and disturbing one of the blood vessels and that could of led to a bleed. He said that light bleeding is actually expected in most pregnancies with multiples.

He was very concerned that I had lost 13lbs and said he would like me to gain around 50lbs for the pregnancy, which would equal to about 1 1/2lbs of weight gain a week. We told him our concerns with Zofran and he reassured us that it is very safe and that the studies they did were inconclusive. So he prescribed the Zofran and said I can take it along with the Promethazine tab. He said he would like to schedule an appt for me to see a nutritionist because it's really hard to get all the nutrients and vitamins for a multiple pregnancy. I'm really glad about that

We brought up that the ER Dr said my uterus was slightly opened and that was a concern to us. He said that there are 2 openings in the uterus, the front and back and the front was slightly opened and he said that was probably due to the fact that it was letting the blood out, but in the ultrasound he said the back part was closed and that was the most important part. After he said, "Well...let's have a look at these babies!" :happydance:

So the brought the ultrasound machine in the room and started scanning my belly. It was so cute to see them wiggle around in there sacs. One of them was way more active then the rest. The Dr said everything he can see looks great. He remeasured the babies and all were measuring right on target for being 9 weeks 2 days pregnant.

After the appt we headed to pick up the Zofran from the pharmacy and as soon as I got home I took it. I didn't feel sick all evening! I even ate pb&j and 2 pieces of toast with butter!! It was amazing. So this morning I only took the Zofran to see how I feel on just taking that by itself and so far so good. Praying this is the relief I've been longing for. No one should ever have to go through tossing their cookies 5-8 times a day and feeling miserable if they don't have to.

Also, the Dr highly recommended I get the flu shot because of the H1N1 flu virus that is going around and is very unsafe for pregnant women. He said there were multiple deaths of elderly people, pregnant women and children from the virus the last time it was going around. So we definitely stopped by the women's clinic after my appt to get the shot.

My next appt is on Feb 4th, not sure what is going to happen then, but I know I will be 11 weeks :winkwink:

I'm so thankful because every day is a milestone for us. We haven't made it this far!!! today is 9 weeks and 3 days. Thank you Lord :happydance:

I'm so happy for you Sarah. I will keep you in my prayers.

Here they are!!! The ones on the right the Dr said look like they are on bunk beds :haha: The one on the top bunk is the little dancer :happydance:

BTW- the bottom dark spot is not a 4th baby...lol! The Dr thinks it's an extra follicle that hung around from my IVF cycle.

So glad all went well! I was totally thinking that was fourth baby too, lol. So thanks for clearing that up.

YAY!!! I checked in like six times yesterday to see how the appointment went. I'm so happy that they all are doing so well. Also glad you have some relief from the morning sickness (and afternoon sickness and evening sickness). When I was pregnant with Jack I got really nauseous for about 2 weeks and only threw up a handful of times. But then it went away. And I was the biggest baby. So I cannot even begin to imagine what you were going through. My continued prayers for you and your little miracles!

OMG! This is such great news! One for each loss you had. I'm praying and believing with you that these are your take home munchkins.

So happy your appt went well! And you are feeling better, praying it keeps up! No, getting sick that many times is not fun, know all too well! The weight loss is going to be more of an issue bc of multiples but know that babies are going to get all your nutrients first. Just please, if you don't feel right and it feels different or just gets worse get to the dr! Be demanding that tests are run etc. my dr blew me off when I said I was really sick- yes, i'd been really sick the whole time, but it was different. Like I said before, luckily for me i'm here bc of my parents. With multiples and all the nutrients they'll take I hope they'll run extra labs routinely for you.

Praying for another healthy 30 wks!

Keep us updated!!! I'm so excited for you and still following your journey :)

Believe me sis, I will not be silent! :haha: Thankfully I see a Perinatologist and go in every couple of weeks. The Zofran has been an answered prayer! I haven't tossed my cookies since taking it. It's still a little hard for me to eat and definitely still have food aversions, but trying to eat a little something every couple of hours. Oatmeal, toast and bananas have been my best friends so far

Glad you are sticking around :flower:

I'm very sorry about your losses and pray that one day soon, you too will get your rainbow baby.

At least what you can eat isn't unhealthy. I know you wanna eat exactly how you're supposed to as a pregnant woman, but when you're pregnant and experiencing all of the symptoms like nausea, food aversions, cravings, etc. you eat what you can.

I'm so glad you're feeling better, and even more glad that you've passed the 9 week point! Praise God! I am so unbelievably happy for you!

Awwwww, the best valentine day ever! Praying all will be well.

Oh ladies....I heard the most beautiful sound yesterday...my babies heart beat!
We have never heard it in any of our pregnancies, only seen it flicker on the ultrasound.

When I was pregnant with Gingy I bought a fetal doppler. It's a machine that you glide across your belly with headphones attached so you can hear what's going on inside. We tried on Saturday and the only pulse hubby picked up was mine  So since yesterday marks me at 10 weeks, I told hubby to give it another shot. The package states you can hear it starting at around 14 weeks, but when I read reviews online, I saw some heard it as early as 10 weeks.

Hubby applied the freezing cold gel to my lower tummy and as soon as he placed it on my belly, he heard it! Then I took the headphones from him and had a listen myself. It was AMAZING!!! To hear that little heart beat so fast was indescribable! Hubby believes he heard 2 different ones. One was really clear and loud and the other he said sounded like it was off in the distance.

Thank you Lord for the reassurance that they are alive at this milestone in our journey!

Yesterday we did something we never in our lives thought we would do...go looking at mini vans :haha: We really wanted to stay away from getting a mini van and looked at multiple SUVs, but it seems like the mini van is the best option for us. We will wait to make a purchase until around the 5th month of pregnancy and trade in my little 4 door car.
