she offer to pay for our first IUI if we need about $1500 ....i won't let her do so but it was nice to hear that she was here anyway ...

just to see that 2 healthy people like us may i have to go that road  it's exiting and depressing at the same time ...

Awww that is so sweet! My parents offered to do that for our 2nd one (when and if we decide to go that route again)

Big

i can't take her money ...if the the iui failed it will e to much pressure if you know what i mean...

Awww, I understand about you not wanting to take her money.

But how sweet of her to offer! God bless our mothers, they are the BEST! :)

And I hear you about not being able to believe we have to go through assistance to conceive a child, who would've known??

Best of luck, hope Clomid does the trick for you. FX'd!!!

It's sweet of her to offer. She wants a grandchild. Would she feel sad or rejected if you didn't take her gift?

no i think she will understand perfectly ...we are very close and i don't feel like she will take as a rejection at all ....

it's more on my side i don't want to use her money knowing there is only about 20% chance of success about ...in france $1500 is a lot of money ....

:hugs: what a sweetheart your mother is

Its great to have the support of family and friends when you go through this. Your Mom sounds wonderful. I'm sure she'll get her grandbaby soon!

Oh! I thought she was here. Why does your doctor want to try IUI?

That is so sweet of your mother to offer that.It shows great support! It also shows how much you mean to her and how much she obviously loves your husband too! That is awesome!

Your Mum is the best, its great when you know people's parents are supporting them 100%. Mine was the same, as soon as my tubal blockage came known, mine offered as well. I am hoping it will happen in two IVF goes we get on NHS.

Most doctors in UK are not bothering with IUI now and are going straight to IVF as it gives you a much better chance. I know it is hideously expensive though. Why is your doc recommending IUI?

Thats really sweet of your mum and I can understand why you won't take it, I think I would do the same if my mum and dad offered.

because i have being ttc since October 2007 ...i have being taking clomid 50mg for 2 month now i still have one more month to go with it ...since my husband sperm are fine and i do ovulate and all my tests came back fine the next logic step will be to stay on clomid with maybe a higher dose and try IUI for a better chance % of conceiving...

Bless your mother. That is sweet. My auntie said the nicest thing the other day as well. "If I could have a baby for you, I would," she said. But, she is sixty one years old. It's hardly possible :)
