Hi Ladies,
I had this pram in about a million pieces until recently - we got it for free and it was really grotty but I worked really hard on getting it nice and now it is like new!! I'm so pleased with myself! It is a Bugaboo Gecko - I have the seat and also a maxi cosi car seat with adapters to go on it. I honestly thought I would have to buy a new one but I am so pleased with this one now. I just need to get a parasol for it - I am hoping to buy one tonight on ebay :happydance::happydance::happydance:

Thanks ladies!!! Amazing what a bit of spit and polish can do lol!!

It looks awesome! Just like brand new.

Yay! It does look new - I am really pleased with myself and hubby loves me for saving him £800!
I did the same with the car seat - it is only a couple of years old and has not been in any bumps - so we took it off our friends for free. I haven't quite finished it yet but I should have it done soon, I'll post piccies when it's done :D

it looks brand new hun :D i love bugaboo's

It is so different to what I had with my boys - I love it!!

i had the bugaboo donkey duo for baby and DD i would have loved a 2nd hand one as there expensive brand new but they was goin too much on ebay :( so i had to get a new one boooo

Looks great :) did the tcut work?!!

I was also going to buy a parasol for mine however I asked my friend who had a gecko as I heard that you don't really need one due to the hood coming low, she said she didn't require one at all while it was a carrycot, just something to bear in mind in case :) xx

The t cut only got minor scratches out. The only deep scratches are up the sides where the reflectors will go (Thankyou again!). I am getting the parasol for use with the car seat because the sun screen on it doesn't cover much so I think I'll need it to use with that :)

It looks brilliant. I Have a maxi cosi car seat from friens that needs cleaning up. What did you use on yours? x

I basically just cleaned it and if you polish with silicone it comes up lovely. I need to get a special pen from Halfords or something like that to get a couple of scratches out. I washed the cover like 6 times! The warning label peeled off so I had to get that off completely and remove the glue which was a nightmare! I nearly gave in a bought a new cover but I got it off in the end. I have bought new shoulder and crotch pads for it - just waiting for them to arrive. The original straps were really grubby so I soaked them in stain devil for 30 mins and cleaned them and they came up like new :)
