My time here is limited!

Leo will be a year old in a month and has recently started to stand unsupported. It's only a matter of time before he decides to take independent steps! Since he's not a fan of cruising, I wonder if it will take him a little longer to walk, but only time will tell. Regardless though, he has hit pretty much the last milestone that happens prior to independent steps and that's pretty exciting. Between the impending walking and the impending birthday, my little Leo-Peo is almost done being a baby! Many people seem sad about their last baby turning one, but I'm feeling pretty good about things. I love seeing my kids grow and develop and the toddler stage is so much more fun than the baby stage. There is so much I'm looking forward to!

Time sure does fly by, and it seems to go even faster with number 2! I'm not sure if you're planning on having any more children, but as I know Alex is our last it makes me treasure every baby moment and milestone so much more as I know it is the last time I will every experience it. I'm also so much more chilled this time round so I can appreciate things without the stress, so I'm sure I will feel sad with the prospect of his 1st birthday.....and in addition it will spell the end of my maternity leave. It's fab you're looking at it in such a positive light though, I agree the toddler days are fun, especially watching their personalities develop!

With my first I was devastated the baby stage was over but then quickly realised the toddler stage is so much more fun! Can't wait to get there with my 4 month old and watch the two of them together, not sure how that will go though lol!x
