Name calling

I love the name Quinn & pretty set on it really. But I kind of am afraid kids might call him
Queen instead of Quinn. What do you think?

I think kids will find nasty nicknames if they want to for pretty much any name. To me the Quinn Queen thing isn't the most obvious thing in the world or the worst nickname so I'd not let it change my mind.

I agree with the previous poster. Also, Queen was a pretty kick ass band, so there's that too

Nope, never would have thought of it and I've had a male friend named Quinn for many, many years.

As Amygdala said, I don't think any name is safe, really. I think you could find some stupid rhyme or association with most names if you tried hard enough.

I honestly have never thought, or heard of that. I think it's a great name, and it is on our list - for a girl though

I agree kids will tease for any reason...names, clothing, popularity, hobbies, etc. Youre never in the clear.
That being said, some names are more tease-able than others.
Quinn doesn't strike me as such.
I'd have never in a million years would have come up with Queen, nor do I think that's a bad thing to be called?
