Ive been told at the scan Im having a boy and me and OH have decided on the name

Charlie John/Jon

OHs dad's name is Charles but everyone calls him Chris (he doesnt like Charles) and my dad is John, but again its bit popular so wondered about spelling it Jon? I love the name Charlie just sounds so cute, but Im scared its too popular, so how many Charlies have people come across, I work in a nursery and we only have one which surprised me I thought it was a popularish! name,

We also have a back up plan of girls name too just in case,

Casey-Anne Ellen
dont know if Casey-Anne sounds too Waltons or not or wether to break it up and have Casey and Anne Ellen as middle names, not thinking about it too much as we are 99% its a boy but a friend of mine was told she was having a girl and had a boy so just thought we should have a back up plan instead!!!!

Me and OH have chosen Charlie for when the time comes, I love it.
I only know of one Charlie and he is older than me. I like the spelling Charlie Jon x

I know 6 Charlies under 4! I guess it must just be popular around here! I think Casey sounds prettier on it's own and Anne as one of the middle names xx

I really love the name Charlie -- it's so cute!

I know one man named Charlie & one little boy... but i have known a few dogs named Charlie, too!

I do think it's a "trendy" name at the moment but doesn't seem overly used

What about Jonathan as a version of John, instead of John/Jon??

Oh and hyphenated names always seem a bit "waltons" to me... love Casey by itself... for a girl or a boy!

I LOVE Charlie,I dont know of many, I think its had its popularity peak a few years back iykwim, there were a few in my eldest daughters year at school (shes 13 now), there are no Charlie's in any of my other childrens classes . I like John spelt either way. xx
