I would definitely pronounce that wrong because of the spelling. It just looks like a spelling mistake to be honest. I don't think its massively out there in terms of being different

I think Reid is cute but I agree that Ried looks like a typo and will probably have some pronounciation issues (it looks like you put it in that order to emphasize the RI sound - so in my head I pronounced it like rye-ed).

Nice name, but I agree with others, the spelling looks like a typo for Reid, or like it should be pronounced "Ride". Reid is a great, simple, cute, geeky-cool sounding name
