I'm always worried to share my name for people to steal it... but I figure here no one can do that where it matters, most ya'll are across the pond :loopy:

I've heard some really whacky names, someone named their child "Stove Oven" HAHAHA... or "Thelma Mae" when her last name was Drown... like seriously??? haha... so it always really interests me... I have cousins with odd names Tayanita(her son, Mannix), Tallie(daughter Kyla)... and I think unique names are GREAT! :) Love how different we all are!!!!:hugs:

:):) its not really a case of ppl stealin the names its...the thing is with Elinor we had decided to call her Willow up until the day she was born...but we made the mistake of telling some ppl (mothers etc included) and they went on and on and on about how we couldnt name our child somethin like that etc an she has to live with it etc etc etc so we decided we had enough and my OH picked her name. My mother still didnt like the name. I told her once she was born in the phone call..little girl etc etc Elinor... she said what?? Oh i dont like that name.... cant win huh?

I LOVE WILLOW!!! That's really cute!!! Elinor too... people need to mind their own and just enjoy the beautiful baby... give her a nickname if you don't like it... Willy, Low, Nori, Eli... whatever... just deal. I could careless what people think of the names I choose! When they push out a child after carrying for 9months, then their opinion might matter!! haha. :hugs:

Really cool to read all the different names... I am finding it hard to pick "this is the #1" because I want to LOVE the name and it's something they will have for the rest of their life. Man, I realized last night while flipping through a baby book, it took me 10minutes to name my pets, if that and now it's looking like it will take me 9 months to name this tummy traveler... haha. :dohh:

Anyone else having a hard time?? I have lots of names I really like, just picking "oh thats the one," is so hard for me. I'm the woman that picks her christmas tree within minutes just points and that's it (most of my decisons are like that matter of fact). Sheesh!!
