My husband and I have settled on names. It took us a bit to find the perfect Boy's name, but the girl's name came to us super quickly. I wonder if that's a sign in itself LOL

for a girl we've selected Lily Michelle.

Lily; after his super spirited maternal great grandmother. This is also one of my mother's most FAVORITE names in the world. I just think it's super sweet and ultra feminine.

Michelle; For my sister who sadly was lost in the 9/11 tragedies. This is our way of honoring an amazing woman who was called back to heaven entirely way too soon. Plus this is the first baby to be born in the family for over 22 years (my youngest sister being the last!) and a major celebration.

for a boy we've selected Ethan Wyatt

Ethan; because it's unique and not heard very often anymore. It has that strong flow like Ian, but gives a bit more to the punch and much more smooth. A good strong boy's name.

Wyatt; After good ole Wyatt Earp, a western hero. Another strong name (that I wanted as a first name due to how RARE it is and how AWESOME it is!) but hubby won out. Plus with this middle name it would give a boy the same initials as daddy! EWJ!

Either way, I'm suuuuuper content with out name choices. Life is good. Now just to find out what this baby is going to be and finish the shopping my mom has already started! She's convinced it's going to be a girl... She's usually right. We'll see!

I love them! I'm sorry about your sister. That must have been really hard. But a beautiful tribute to her!

I love the names, those are AWESOME!

For a girl we are going with Millie Anne | Aurora | (surname)

And for a boy we are going with Jax | Elias | (surname)

Not really any particular reasons, we just like them. And if anybody steals them, I will find out :haha:

EDIT: have had the girl's name picked out since 2010, boy's name just recently ;)

@Xpecta; Thank you ::hug:: We HAD to do something for her and I think she'd genuinely appreciate the sentiment. It was a VERY tough time and we're still not alright after it. I don't think we ever will be, but hopefully a new baby in the family will bring some of the shine back to the holidays and such. It's about time we had something worth celebrating again.

@Megranade: I LOVE LOVE LOVE your names!!!!!! They're simply EPIC! You're due 4 days after me! Awwww!!!!

We already know that we are having a girl. We chose the name Calliope Rose but if she had actually been a he we had picked out Jaiden Elliot. No family ties to the names, just really liked them.

I have settled on the name Delaney Lynn. Delaney because we find it to be beautiful, and it sounds great with our other 4 daughter's names. And Lynn as a middle because oddly enough it is my father in law's middle name! We are having our 5th girl, and this is our last baby so there will be no boys in the future. We love the fact that we can still honor him by using his middle name for our daughter!

Hi really sorry to hear about your sister such a needless loss of life, but do love your names. I named my son Ethan, didn't know we was expecting a boy & had loads of girls names we loved but couldn't pick a boys until I found Ethan & fell in love with it. From that point on in the pregnancy I know he would be a boy & I was watching telly one night when I say a little chubby boy with little curls & knew he would look like that & he does. My name is also Michelle so love that name too. This time round 22weeks currently I have picked Connie Ann for a girl or Jude for a boy. Think it will be a boy again but don't have the strong feelings I had before. X

Lovely names ladies!

We are quite stuck with names this time around. We have a little boy called Zachary already and haven't found a single boys name we can agree on.

We quite like Evie Quinn for a girl though.

Staying team yellow and have a way to go to find a boys and girls name we both love.

Beautiful names.

Jaxx Eli as our name too but we couldn't picture him as an adult with that name so we changed it.

How awesome someone else will be using that name :D

We are having a little girl and will be calling her Lexie-Rose. Lexie just because we both like it and Rose after my nan who sadly passed away 2 years ago.

If this little one had been a boy, we would have called him Archie.

Beautiful names!

Our little girl's name will be Roxy Elizabeth. Roxy is just a name we both love and Elizabeth is after my amazing mother.

If she were a boy she would have been Jackson Robert. Again Jackson is just a name we love, Robert would be for DH's father who was killed in a plane crash when DH was just a little tacker himself.

I love the names you have picked! Lots of beautiful names on here!
Our baby boy with be Elliot David Michael. If we had been team pick she would have been Emma. X

Lovely names :flower:

We all have two middle names in mine and OH's family so our baby will too.

For a girl we've chosen Lilia Scarlett Aubrey- Lilia because I wanted something that could be shortened to 'Lil' to honour my nana as that was her nickname. We had orignally chosen Lily but I already know a few people with girls called Lily and Lilia is so pretty. Scarlett and Aubrey we just like

For a boy we've chosen Flynn Alan Norman- Flynn because my OH is Irish and we wanted an irish name for our boy. We didn't want a common name though and we both loved Flynn. Alan and Norman are my grandads names, they both died earlier this year so I want to honour them.

They are all great names, we're having a girl and have picked Darcie. Her middle name will be India. We couldn't really agree on a family middle name so I just said India and we both love it. For a boy we had picked Leo, and Phillip as his middle name after my dad who sadly passed away last march from cancer. Xx:hugs:

Lovely names ladies!

After a lot of searching we have decided on Sienna Hope. The first name had to be easily pronounced in Italian and English which limited a lot of our choices but I'm very happy with Sienna, think it sounds classy .The middle name was because we went through a big scare after our nt scan as they thought she had chromosomal issues, but we never lost hope.

Our LO is (so far) a boy, so his name is Maverick Willoughby.

Maverick: just a name I love with a meaning I absolutely love, and it's completely American in nature, which I think is cool. It was originally a surname. Samuel Maverick was a Texas rancher; all the ranchers branded their cattle except him. He refused to do it "just because." He went on the become a Senator later. So Maverick is either an unbranded cow (lol) or someone who refuses to conform "just because."
Willoughby: DH's maternal grandfather's last name. He had 2 daughters, so no one to carry on the name. He was very influential in DH's childhood; I never got to me him :(

If LO had been a girl, she would have been either Ainsley Everlong or Huxley Everlong.

Ainsley: Scottish for "one's own meadow." DH loves it, I like it, but worry about "Anus-ley." I probably would have let him have this one, though, since I've picked so much of the rest.

Huxley: Aldous Huxley! I think a little girl called "Hux" would be sooo cute.

Everlong: After my favorite Foo Fighters song. This was also our wedding song. We've been waiting a long time for this little one, so the first line, "Hello, I've waited here for you...everlong" is just perfect. And yeah, we've heard the "sounds like a porn star name" deal; yeah well. Lol.

MY LO will be called Nate Michael [Surname].

Nate is just because we love the name and feel it goes well with the other children's names. Michael is a family name on OH's side of the family. OH was very close to his grandad who died in 2011 and he wanted to have his grandad's name in there somewhere.

We have Aleksander Joseph. Aleksander because we both love the name. Joseph after hubbys late uncle.

This one will either be Lainee Alexis or Lillian Alexis. In honor of my uncle who passed this year his initials were L.A...
If she happens to be a boy we only have Allen for a middle name after my uncle. No first name we can agree on.

If it is a girl it will be
Emery Elizabeth (Surname)
Emery was my husbands grandfather's name who just passed away last month and he was very close with. He always thought his name was feminine and I agree :)
Elizabeth is my grandmother's middle name and I think it goes good with Emery

If it is a boy it will be
Boyd Emery (Surname)
Boyd is a family name and I think it is a strong first name
Emery was explained above :)

It's a boy (which meant name debate! We had a girls name ready - Emily - but boys names are hard for us. We just don't agree!)

Anyway we finally have the name and he's being called Jayce Dean or Jayce Daniel (middle name undecided yet).
