We are still WTT (sometime this year!) but that hasn't stopped me imagining what we will call our LOs when they arrive. DH doesn't really like a lot of the names that I love but we have a couple of front runners at the moment.

For girls we have:
Aurora
Arianna
Violet

Middle names likely to be Alice, Isabel, Karoliine, Laine

For boys we have:
Lauchlan
Lewis

Middle names likely to be Lennox, Steven (def), Dean

What do you think? Are there any nice combinations there or ones you would not use?

ETA: We really struggle with boys names and don't want something too common so any suggestions for my ever growing list are welcome! Throw some girls names at me too

I like Lewis a lot! And Locklen (or similar spelling) nn Lock!

Aurora is beautiful but I'm put off it as I think of people that can't pronounce Rs and it ruins it for me. Rory is nice nn though!
Arianna and Violet are both nice also just not my style.

Other options:
Logan, Lyle, Leonardo, Wyatt, Wesley, Bentley, Hunter, Preston, etc
Annabelle, Avery, Star, Mikaela, Paisley, Harper, Louise, etc

Im a little worried about the pronunciation of rs too but I guess so long as all family members can say it then it'd be okay. It is a little concern of mine though! I love Rory as a nickname!

I really love Logan but DH only thinks it's okay :dohh: and I like Hunter too but there's multiple reasons that we can't use it!

it may not effect you but lewis is common around here and most have to be differentiated by initals or last name

Violet is lovely, it's one of my favourite names. Arianna is nice, too. I don't care for Aurora, it takes too much effort to pronounce (perhaps just my accent, I don't know). Rory is a cute nickname, though.

I really like Lachlan! I'm also a big fan of Lincoln which has the same sort of 'feel' to it.

I love lewis. It is rather popular but clearly because its a great name. I find aurora a complete mouthful and it reminds me of a Disney princess or something. Arianna seems to roll off then tongue easier (for me) a girls name I love love love is Orla had I heard it before I named my youngest ivy I would have used it x

I know that Lewis is a pretty common name although I've only ever known one myself. We really struggle with boys names so I do worry that we'll end up with a lovely but really common one which isn't really what I want.

I'm not having anymore babies BUT if I did by some miracle have a baby boy he would be named Alexander after my dad. It such a strong name and Alex is cute as a shortend name

I loved the name Alex. In fact it was a boys name that we settled on for YEARS and then my SIL had her second boy and named him Alexander! She had no idea that we loved the name though. Not that it would have made a difference - you can't call dibs on a name! :haha:
