My mum wants to have a go at making a nappy, what material and thread would she need? :flower:
 
depends on the type of nappy she wants to make, but she would need to use polyester thread rather than cotton. Also if she is making something using PUL (polyurethane laminate) she's best not pinning it too much as it will cause weak spots in the laminate and they will be more likely to wick. Hope that helps xx
 
Oh bubbles I didn't know that about the cotton! Does that rule apply with inserts? I'm assuming not but just to confirm lol x
 
I wouldn't think so as the insert is designed to soak up the moisture, I am only applying the rule to pockets/AIOs due to the moisture being wicked from the inside to the out if that makes sense
