Naptime routine

molly is almost 2 and a half and sleeps after lunch, we have a cuddle on the sofa hen go upstairs have a story and cudles in bed put her lullaby on and she's usually asleep within ten minutes, can sleep for upto 2 hrs. she's had her lullaby on since she was little i like above post about a monkey, maybe you could go shopping for a special napping bear or something that can be used expecially for his naps? good luck! x

Amy has a naptime routine, although it varies a bit depending on what we're doing and how tired she is.
She normally wakes up around 7.30am and has her 1st nap from 10am-12noon. Her 2nd nap normally falls from 3pm-4pm and then she goes to bed at 7.30pm. It took us a while to get into a routine that 'suited' her and figuring out her nap cues but it's well worth all the effort.

No real routine as such just watch out for his tired signs and then take him up to his bedroom, close the blinds and put him in his cot. I will then give him his dummy and his 'snuggly bear' which he only has in his cot for naps and at night.

What we don't do though is put Euan in his sleeping bag, just take his trousers off and put him in his cot, although if DH does nap time he sometimes still has his trousers on. We discovered that if we put him in his sleeping bag he went hysterical, he associates that with night time and not just a nap. It works for us and we make sure he's not cold so it works for him too.
