My daughter has always had sensitive skin so I would like to try a more gentle product for bath time and a product that is as natural as possible.
Any suggestions?

Try just using water. We don't use any soaps or bubble bath.

I agree, just use water, that's all we use. Babies don't need soap.

We bath every night and only use a little bit of homemade baby soap on her bum since we only use water when we change her diaper. I'd say just ditch the soap altogether until she's mobile and getting herself dirty.

I really like Weleda products. For washing her face, you might also look into the oil cleansing method. I use it on myself and found it really helps with sensitive skin and skin conditions. Basically, you mix up an oil, massage it in and gently wipe off. It gets rid of dirt and other gunk and is really sensitive and doesn't strip skin of natural oils and protectants. We don't use soap every day, but when she's extra dirty or smelly (I insist on it when she's eaten fish or shellfish or something else extra stinky), Weleda products are great.

Thank you! we normally go straight from the high chair to the bath after dinner as wet wipes irritate my LOs face so when her dinners are extra messy I wouldn't mind using something! I will have a look at Weleda products and into the oil cleansing method and give them a try and hopefully it won't irritate her skin. Thank you ladies!

We too just use water. For after eating messes I have a set of flannels I keep in the kitchen and I use those on both kids with just water.

And using just water protects the child from any chemicals too.
It's great using only water for them till he gets himself dirty.
Good.

Purepotions chamomile baby oil. It has six ingredients.

We are using the hemp skin salve on my LO's eczema and it is nothing short of a miracle-worker.

What wipes are you using? Have you tried WaterWipes? 99.9% water - can't go wrong.

We used waterwipes for the first six months then moved onto extra sensitive wipes with no problems for 4-5 months but I was just thinking today I think I might swap back. I will look at the pure potions and definitely into the hemp skin salve as the rash on her face is really persistent and even the emollient that we used as a newborn is not working this time!

Thank you all for the advice, I think we will use water most days and I'll look into the ones mentioned for the days she is extra messy!

Purepotions skin salvation is the full name if you can't find it. :)

We use Earth Friendly Baby Products, we have the bath & body & shampoo wash. it's 99.2% natural ingredients. we then massage baby with coconut oil after the bath, which is great for the skin.
