Natural, organic mattresses

I am getting Marley a new mattress this weekend and I am not sure if I should go with the natural rubber mattress or the innerspring organic cotton mattress. Anyone have either of these?? I will still be using it for when I convert her crib to a bed so any advice on which one would be appropriate for an infant - toddler would be appreciated.

Are your organic cotton ones waterproof? I would def pick whichever is waterproof especially to use through toddler years with potty training and all that
