hey. i'm 7 weeks and feeling pretty rotten. started taking vit b6 on top of my multivit and folic acid today, so hopefully will feel better tomorrow. what else can i try (not meds) ?
ginger is a waste of time.
 
all i could manage at your stage was plain soda water, dry crackers, and dry cereal, sometimes lemon helped but it could make you worse i dunno how ull react to it. eating often and a little bit even tho it makes no sense actually helps you feel less nauseas. dont let your tummy be empty cos that will make u feel worse. some people swear by mint as well but i have never tried this.

good luck, it will pass eventually sorry you feel rubbish i def remember the feeling and its awful just get all the help you can get from people around you and dont force yourself to eat. try keep up the fluids esp if ure throwing up
 
Welcome to one of the joys of pregnancy! I found the acupressure wristbands helped a little :hi:

Soda crackers and 7 up were the only things that got me through the nausea. It also helps if you try to eat several small meals a day, letting yourself get to hungry tends to aggravate the nausea.
 
thanks all. i discovered the crackers today actually, made me feel much better. i never eat wheat bcos of candida but i've started. i'm also going to try the acupressure bands, going to the health shop tomorrow. i spent all of sunday cooking myself a nutritious vegetable stew with chick peas and barley and now i cant bloody eat it!
