In the middle of asda aswell, it was so embarassing! I was walking with my fiance in asda and it just come over me, i couldn't see straight and i felt like everything was spinning, i ended up slumping my head on a stack of crisp boxes and closing my eyes i really thought i was going to pass out! Went to walk and stumbled and my OH caught me thankfully! Then we scurried off to the cafe in asda so i could sit down with a drink and let the feeling pass, it wasnt lack of food because i had just eaten lunch! Im wondering if my iron levels have dropped low, at 8 weeks they were within a normal range but that was 10 weeks ago now they may have dropped, if it happens again i think I'll have to contact my midwife!

I've been having the same thing lately, and quite a bit more than I ever expected. My doctor said it was normal and to rest and not overdo it. I read where it's from a drop in blood pressure halfway through.

Iv had it with all my pregnancies if im standing still like in a queue or something but never when walking along, usually walking around prevents it for me, it was awful i dont think i have ever been that close to passing out i really did think i was going to!

It's probably you're blood pressure, it's at it lowest in the middle part of pregnancy. I've had really low BP this time around - I actually passed out in the middle of new look it was so embarrassing! My mw has just told me to keep really hydrated and add a bit of salt into my diet to try and combat it!

Yikes! Glad your DH was there to help you!

I've had that, 3 times now, twice since sunday alone. my midwife told me that when it happens I should contact mat ward, but at the time you don't really think about that.
It happened today at work, luckily another member of staff saw that it looked like I was going to pass out so she quickly got me out side and sat down. Now I have to sit down at work incase it happens again, and if I start feeling like it again then I have to tell someone.
should really let my midwife know, she said when I saw her last if it kept happen she wanted to get a blood test done.
might be worth you getting in touch with yours to get a blood test done.

I work in a school and I was in the middle of a class today and I suddenly became really hot and saw in tunnel vision and ended up slumped against a wall until I could run to the loo to be sick. Poor kids must have thought I was drunk ! Asked work what I should do they said sit down for a little while you'll be fine  ! People say 2nd Trimester is easier....they lie !
