Need A Good Wedding Rant

So last night we got the suits all 5 of them my OH tried his on and it fitted him perfectly he looked really smart then I get three phone calls.

One from father of the groom - His waistcoat was way to tight

One from Best Man - His pants didn't fit him around the wait

Brother of the bride - He couldn't button his pants up and they looked like 3/4 length pants!

Brother of the bride told the guy in the shop that he was between a 34-36" Long they said I beg to differ but he told them! - They measured him and sent him a 32" Regular...My brother is 6ft 5 does he look like a Regular size bloke??

We are just waiting on our usher to try his suit on tomorrow morning now if his doesnt fit him I am going to make sure the manager gets a right earful!! I was so overwelmed with all the phone calls I eventually screamed for fucks sake really loud sat on the floor and cried! 3 days before my wedding and the balls up the bloody suits!!

I had a similar situation, the grooms shirt didn't do up around the collar and his satin tie was all matted and looked like it had been dragged through a hedge! I complain to the store and got it sorted the next day. You'll have forgotten all about it when it gets to the day itself. Don't forget to enjoy it!

Aw honey!! Make sure you let them know, but try not to get too stressed as it'll only ruin your day...Cant believe they tried to tell him he was a regular at that size!! What a goon!

OH went to to suit shop this morning and sorted everything out. The shop managers excuse was this:

"Sorry Mr Hartley, Sometimes these things can happen."

My OH then went off his rails and said

"This sort of thing should never happen you are lucky you have seen me today and not my fiance because she would of probably killed you!"

Tomorrow we have to pick all the new stuff up so if they are wrong I will absolutley lose it but I am going to the suit shop tomorrow rather than my OH and I am going to get a suit for free if it kills me! I thought I was going to have a breakdown lasy night!

Aww, it wouldn't be a wedding without something going a mis, just think hos funny they would all look turning up in badly fitting suits.

All will be put right and it's another lil story for ur OHs speech!

And make sure u give the shop manager a hard time tomorrow! Tell him he needs a new tape measure!

Well ladies we managed to get some pants for my brother this morning, low and behold they dont fit....guess what they have given us the wrong size again!!

he is a 34 Long....they gave him a 34 Regular....I am going to actually kill someone and the suit hire company and it aint going to be pretty....

By the time you read this it will be 2 days before my wedding and if this is not sorted out I will go mad!!!!

They must do, on the inside of the pants it has a label that says 34.....then on a smaller label it says 34" by 31" that is 34 Regular!! 34 Long is 34" by 33"

I am so annoyed with them I am not even going to shout at them now I just want it to be sorted out, do they realise what this does to a bloody bride?

On the upside I went to our wedding reception last night to drop off all the stuff they need so the seating plan, wishing well, party favours, place cards, table numbers, guest book and menu plaques and the room looks fantastic!

I just to get it over and done with now I am sick of having to deal with idiots!

oh my goodness. I can not believe they got them wrong again!! one mistake may be forgiveable...but to then screw up the second time just takes the biscuit!!

Glad the room looked good though. Fingers crossed they get these trousers etc sorted for you by tomorrow x

Thanks ladies, spoke to the suit hire company today and they said they had 34 Long in the shop.....

My matron of honour is going to collect everything for me so I have told her to check the smaller label and make sure it says 34" by 33" otherwise she can kill them!

I cant believe I'm getting married in 2 days! feels really werid!

oooh man! i know what you mean, though i cant imagine how you feel if i feel this wierd getting married now! I have a year to go yet!!!! It feels wierd because its becoming more and more real now- the invites have been designed and printed, the venue/ registrar is booked!!!!! I had 6 months to plan all mine and that went by too quick. So I would say its going to go by quite quick for you aswell.

Best thing to do is stay organised at all times and delegate a room for all your wedding stuff. Because I made all my own stationary aswell everything was everywhere.
