I know LP's generally stay the same or vary by a day every cycle. I stopped temping because I was getting really stressed out with everything so I tried to ease up. I'm not sure exactly when I ovulated but counting my luteal phase and such... here's my question(s):

Okay so maybe I'm just having a huge blonde moment but my chart (in my sig.) is really confusing me.

I thought that a new cycle began when we had regular flow not spotting. According to my May cycle and FF, my LP was 11 or 14 days? My average for LP says 11 days and the green box on CD 19 on May 24th indicates possible ovulation correct? If so, my LP would be 14 days, right?

I'm pretty confused lol. I need to start temping again next cycle. Well, hopefully we won't need to next cycle

Edit: The one month I did temp though, I ovulated on CD 19. I have hypothyroidism and my levels have gone down drastically since then so things may have changed but I think that's what FF is going by.

Hi, if you ovulated on cd19 in the may cycle it was a 13 day lp I think and yep day one is first day of proper flow :) good luck this month xx

I think the ff stats will be off unless you temp and record really religiously, that might be why it reports your average lp as 11 days, because it calculates every month that you have added anything. I think ff is one of those things you either have to really commit to or ignore. Otherwise it will stress you out. I agree with the other poster though, your lp in may was 13 days. You are supposed to count from your first day of real flow, although I have heard this disputed as well! So confusing and annoying, isn't it! Best of luck to you and lots of :dust:!

Thank you ladies so much! I'm trying to get back into temping. my schedule has been so hectic and very inconsistent but I'm starting a new job so things will hopefully get easier (: Thank you both again and :dust: :dust: to you <3
